Businessman to open 20 fast food restaurants in Belarus through Estonian Milkimpex
On Tuesday, the first Texas Chicken restaurant, operating based on a franchise agreement with the U.S. company Church's Chicken, was opened in Belarus, the company said. "Eastern Europe is a region of key importance in our expansion plans," development director of Church's Chicken Tony Moralejo said.
The franchise owner in Belarus is Milkimpex OU, a holding company registered in Estonia, and the restaurants will be operated by ALS Fast Food, a company registered in Belarus. A year ago Church's Chicken announced it plans to open at least 20 restaurants in Belarus in cooperation with Milkimpex.
Church's Chicken is a chicken restaurant chain founded in 1952 in the U.S. which operates under the business name of Cajun Global LLC in Europe. The chain operates in 29 U.S. states and in 22 other coutries.
In 2014, Milkimpex OU owned Belarusian companies OOO Logistics Haus and OOO Akdimol.
