Ada County Sheriff's Office arrested a 33-year-old Kuna man who they say exposed his genitals to a pre-teen girl at a local fast-food restaurant last month.

Detectives fear there may be more child victims.

KBOI 2News asked detectives why that is a concern and they said, “The blatancy, timing, and brazenness of what (Howell) did that day, to that girl, has me very concerned that this could be a routine, rather than isolated, incident.”

Police say the man was identified as Tyler Howell and he was charged with a felony count of sex abuse of a minor under the age of 16.

Police say the girl and her grandmother were at a fast food restaurant on Chinden Boulevard on Jan. 5 and were eating in the dining area. They say Howell sat near the girl and exposed himself when the girl looked at him and would stop when anyone would walk by.

According to police, the girl told her grandmother about what happened after they left the restaurant. The incident was reported to deputies and they had enough evidence to arrest Howell this week.

The investigation began on Jan. 26 after the sheriff's office was contacted by a third party.

Police say Howell is set to make his initial court apprentice Friday afternoon. The crime of sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 16 is punishable by up to 25 years in prison.

Howell previously worked for a local carpet/duct cleaning service that does business all over Ada County.
