Twitter roasts McDonald's after accidental Black Friday tweet

Scene from a McDonald's at sunset.

We've seen it before. An errant tweet goes out from a company's account. Either it was meant for a personal account and somehow made it onto a much bigger stage. Or, as in McDonald's case, it was never meant to see the light of digital day.

Early Black Friday morning, an incomplete tweet was posted to McDonald's corporate account and Twitter immediately had a field day.

Maybe McDonald's was planning to offer an amazing Black Friday deal. Maybe all of our Black Friday morning McCafe coffees were to be free! We'll never know, because the company's social media team still needs copy and a link.

The Twitterverse did have some interesting replies to McDonald's snafu.
