Woman in Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run crash at fast-food outlet in Kelmscott

A woman is in Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run crash at a fast-food outlet in Kelmscott on Monday.

Armadale detectives say the incident happened on Albany Highway in Kelmscott about 3pm and involved a Toyota Camry sedan.

Police say a man was driving and he had two female passengers in the car at the time. The car was stationary in the drive-thru area when a verbal altercation occurred between the trio.

The two women got out of the car before it reversed into one of them, a woman in her 50s, before driving off.

The woman is currently in a serious but stable condition in RPH.

Detectives are calling for anyone who may have seen the incident, or anyone who has seen the vehicle in question, a blue 1998 Toyota Camry sedan registration number 1GFT 002.
