‘Best news I’ve heard all year’ exclaims Taco Bell fans as chain brings back fan favorite snack with spicy twist
The chain partnered with a key brand to create the snack's twist
TACO Bell has brought back a fan-favorite snack for customers — but this time, there's a spicy twist.
Later this month, fans can again get their hands on the item that's been taken off and put back on the fast food giant's menu 11 times.

That would, of course, be none other than Nacho Fries, per a press release from Taco Bell on Thursday.
The brand called Nacho Fries' return "triumphant" and "innovative," noting it will be available for a significantly longer time than customers are used to seeing it in the past.
With the return comes a unique variation to the popular snack, as Taco Bell noted its partnership with sauce pioneer Secret Aardvark.
The Portland, Oregon-based brand helped Taco Bell put a spicy twist on Nacho Fries, creating the Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries.

With the partnership, the brands added a new sauce called Serrabanero Ranch to the Nacho Fries.
It features a ranch base with green habanero pepper, tomatoes, and roasted tomatillos serrano.
"The sauce adds a bold punch of spice to the classic Nacho Fries," Taco Bell wrote in the release.
Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries come in a bowl "seasoned with bold Mexican spices and topped with premium, flavorful slow-roasted chicken, a three-cheese blend, reduced-fat sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and pico de gallo."

Rather than having Nacho Fries on their own with a dipping sauce, the Secret Aardvark variation allows for a complex dish bursting with flavors.
The arrival of the Nacho Fries variation has been highly anticipated after it was announced at Live Mas Live earlier in 2024.

It was dubbed a "new era of flavor with an innovative blend of heat and zest."
Liz Matthews, global food innovations officer for Taco Bell, praised Secret Aardvark for their assistance in the new Nacho Fries approach.
"We're thrilled to bring back fan-favorite Nacho Fries for their 11th return, in a whole new way, with an extra flavorful partnership with Secret Aardvark," Matthews said in a statement.
"Secret Aardvark's dedication to bold flavors and culinary innovation makes them the perfect partner for Taco Bell and our Nacho Fries."
"Together, we're taking flavor exploration to new heights, ensuring our fans experience the ultimate taste sensation with every bite," she added.
COULDN'T BE HAPPIER
All customers can take advantage of the Nacho Fries return starting April 25, but members of Taco Bell's Fire! Tier Rewards Program could get them two days earlier.
At least 300 members could find themselves with a chance to get them early if they monitor the app on April 23 for a drop.
Taco Bell said the Nacho Fries are here again for a limited-time, but will last "nearly all summer long."
Fans have been predominantly ecstatic to hear about the Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries.
"This is the best news I've heard all year!!" a Taco Bell customer exclaimed in a thread on Facebook.
"Looks delicious," another remarked.
"Secret Aardvark hot sauce is amazing!!" a third wrote.
