King Charles may snub Prince Harry during his UK May trip — here’s why

A royal snub.

King Charles and Prince Harry last spoke in person for a measly 45 minutes — and next month could be an even shorter reunion.

Harry, 39, is set to return to the UK for an Invictus Games event in May. However, his cancer-stricken father’s calendar is already filling up — and fast.

The monarch’s diary is “quite busy,” the Telegraph reported on Monday, and therefore any potential meeting will likely be brief.

The father-son duo will be in London at the same time, as the royal redhead — who stepped down as a working royal with his wife, Meghan Markle, in 2020 — is marking the 10th anniversary of the Games at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

Although Charles, 75, is busy, the Telegraph reports that he will try to make time to see his youngest son if he’s able. On the same day, he will be having his weekly meeting with the prime minister and possibly attending the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the season.

Additionally, the king is booked up with other appointments and engagements throughout the week, according to the outlet.

Harry, meanwhile, will visit his home soil without Markle or their children, son Prince Archie, 4, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 2. He was last in the area for 24 hours after Charles revealed his cancer diagnosis in February.

“Look, I love my family,” he told Good Morning America’s Will Reeve after his travels. “The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Harry revealed he “jumped on a plane” soon after speaking to his father on the phone.

“I went to go and see him as soon as I could,” he shared. When asked if his father’s diagnosis could have a “reunifying effect” on his family, Harry said, “Absolutely. Yeah, I’m sure.”

At the time, Harry did not see his estranged brother, Prince William, or his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales, 42, would reveal her own cancer diagnosis in March.

Harry and Markle reportedly “had no idea” about her health condition until it was announced to the world and have been in “informational blackout” about Kate and Charles’ health since.

“They had no idea, and only learned of the news around the same time the rest of the world found out,” an insider exclusively disclosed to The Post. “This goes to show the irreparable damage they have caused.”

“The trust has been broken and the royal family is OK distancing themselves from them.”

Next week, the “Spare” author is likely to leave for the UK only after celebrating Archie’s 5th birthday on May 6. Last year, he missed a bulk of his son’s festivities due to Charles’ coronation. He stayed for the ceremony, but boarded a plane to Montecito, Calif., immediately after, even being photographed still wearing his suit and holding a clothes hanger.
