STRONG COMPETITION
One of the top competitors McDonald's is facing with this new lemonade is Chick-fil-A.
The chain says that its lemonade is made from real lemon juice, with no preservatives or artificial colors.
It was first introduced in 1977 and quickly became one of Chick-fil-A's most popular drinks.
It also led to the introduction of other beverages like Key Lime Lemonade and Cherry Berry Lemonade.
Other chains have also entered the lemonade race, like Wendy's, Arby's and Chipotle.
Wendy's offers its fan-favorite Dave's Craft Lemonade, which comes in flavors like Blueberry Pomegranate and Pineapple Mango.
At Arby's, you can grab multiple flavors of its signature Market Fresh Lemonade.
Other places like Chipotle, Sonic and Panera Bread offer lemonades with real fruit juice, as they state in the recipes.

It a part of what has been dubbed value meals war, as rivals try to offer the best taste at the lowest price.
