Athens International Airport launches food & beverage tender

GREECE. Athens International Airport has launched a tender for the operation of a food & beverage outlet.

The 526sq m fast food burger outlet will be located in the all users area (Level 3) of the main terminal building. The airport describes it as a “central location that benefits from a great view to the east runway”.

Some 21.7 million passengers passed through Athens International Airport in 2017

The winning bidder will gain a contract running until 31 October 2023, with an extension option of two years and six months.

According to tender documents, a preparation area, serving/sales counter(s) and a corresponding seating area will be developed. The F&B outlet will be operated as a self-service fast food restaurant with a burger-oriented concept, supplemented by the offer of coffee/beverages and snacks/dessert options.

Within the outlet, a small coffee corner with limited seating may be optionally and supplementary developed.

The outlet is supported by an adjacent storage unit with a surface area of 168sq m.

Bids from companies, natural person(s), group of companies and/or consortia will be accepted, the airport said.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 26 June. Click here for more information.
