Police said a 12-year-old girl was among a group of people who were robbed at a fast-food outlet yesterday.
Loop News was told that around 11am employees were at the restaurant located along Sixth Avenue, Barataria, when four men entered holding what appeared to be firearms.
They announced a hold-up and ordered everyone in the building to lie on the ground.
They then forced the manager to open the safe of the building, and they stole an estimated $3,000 in cash.
They then relieved persons who were in the stall at the time of their cash and valuables.
The suspects then fled the scene.
The police were notified and a team of officers from the Barataria police station responded and are continuing inquiries.
